Well, this should be interesting. The shoe is going to be on the other foot as the United Auto Workers union (UAW) will soon own 55% of Chrysler LLC. Fiat Group SpA will own 35% while the other 10% will be owned by U.S. government and secured lenders, mostly banks and hedge funds.

I just reported earlier this week that VW sometime this year will surpassed number 2 GM in total vehicles sales in 2009. Just an interesting stat I wanted to pass along. VW is expecting 30% of the new 2010 Golf sales to be diesel. Stefan Jacoby, CEO of Volkswagen Group of America, is quoted in Automotive News that about 50 percent of Jetta wagon sales and 30 percent of Jetta sedans are diesels.
