Welcome to Andy’s Automotive Blog for new and used cars and Automotive Info website, toomanycars.info. I’m hoping to keep you informed on automotive news and my take on what’s happening in the automotive world and my view on new and used cars. What automotive background do I have to justify my car craziness? I guess you could say it started when I was really, really young when my father was drag racing. I spent a good deal of time at the track with him, learning the intricacies of racing. Naturally as I grew older, I did some “street” drag racing of my own, since I knew how it was done. My father was also part of a 4×4 club and this only served to further instill a love of all things automotive in me at a very early age. And both grandfathers always talked about the cars they owned which just made me more curious about cars in my youth. My engineering background helps me understand how cars work from the inside and I’ve worked extensively with GPS systems, something that most new automobiles offer as an option.
I averaged a new or different car, or the more pc friendly, “pre-owned” car, about every 2.1 years since I started driving. So far, my search for the perfect car hasn’t panned out, but manufactures keep coming out with new stuff that I just can’t live without, and I know the perfect car is out there somewhere–or someone will build it eventually. I’ll blog what my view is on any new car and maybe a few “pre-owed” cars.
