Land Rover LRX Concept

I wouldn’t own a Land Rover unless it was given to me and even then I might sell it. Why? Well, mostly because they are well known for being garage queens. And because the closest dealer is in Amarillo, 120 north, it’s not practical. Not saying I wouldn’t keep one for a little while, especially if it happen to be the Range Rover Sport with 4.2-liter supercharged V8 with 390hp and 410 ft-lbs. of torque (can I get “man” grunt out there) Plus, when it comes to building 4×4, nothing can come close. However, it’s not the most reliable vehicle out there.  

So, if Land Rover came out with the LRX concept from the Detroit Auto Show, all might be forgiven. This is a small two-door coupe, some may call it a crossover. I’m going to call it sexy! With this being a concept, I know most of the cool interior will not make it, but if Land Rover can keep the outside shape close and sell it well south of $30k, I’d drive to Amarillo right now and pick it up!
