Ferrari today sent out the first official photographs of the beautiful 2009 Ferrari California. This Prancing Horse will have a mid-front V8 position, a first for Ferrari and exclusively as a convertible with a folding hard top. Both chassis and bodywork will be aluminum.
The California’s 4.3-liter V8 will be direct fuel injection and sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (or 62 mph) in less than 4.0 seconds. Sorry guys looking for the “man pedal”, looks like Ferrari will continue with the 7-speed dual clutch transmission, which I’m sure is helping the 0 to 60 times. Like the 599 GTB Fiorano, the California will be equipped with the F1-Trac traction control system. And how could forget the Brembo brakes with carbon-ceramic material disk.
