As most of you know, Detroit had a few auto makers not make it to the Show this year because of the economy. Well, that’s better than canceling the whole show! The 2009 Tokyo Motor Show me be canceled this year! The organizers (Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, JAMA) are currently debating to keep it or cancel the show all together. The October show has already had a number of non-Japanese automakers have decided not to show up this year. If the 2009 show doesn’t happen, it would be 2011 the next time we would see the Tokyo Motor Show.
Organizers say a decision would be made early next month.
