Good news coming out of GM today, the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro is ON SALE!!! Yes, after seven years of being Camaro-less, we’re finally getting another pony car on the market. And let me point out, she’s not bad on fuel! The Camaro LS and LT get a 3.6-liter, direct-injected V-6 that manages 29 mpg on the highway! That’s with 304 hp! (Which come to find out is one less horsepower than a 2000 5.7-liter V-8 Camaro Z28). Talking about V-8’s, you do have the option of a 6.2-liter V-8 with 426 hp and 420 lb-ft, which will get you from knot to 60 4.7 seconds and still get okay gas mileage at 16/25 for the automatic and 16/24 for the manual.
Now for the big question, as the Camaro’s start trickling into dealership across the US, will that be enough to keep the General running for a few more years or not?
