The photo’s of the new 2010 Ford Taurus is leaking through the internet worse than sex scandal involving the FIA President. However, unlike the sex scandal of a 60 year old man, which is about as sexy as seeing Roseanne naked, the new 2010 Ford Taurus IS sexy. If this is the design direction the blue oval is going in the U.S., I might take everything I’ve been saying badly about them back. Just look at how boring and out dated the 2008 Taurus looks compared to the 2010 version. It’s a complete transformation of a brand that needs some major overhaul here in the States. But if you really look at the design, you’ll notice hints of the popular European Ford Mondeo. Note how they keep the US three-bar grille in the front fascia. I guess you got to keep that to make sure U.S. parts don’t end up in Europe?
Next January 2009 Detroit Auto Show should be the official unveiling of the 2010 Ford Taurus. Sales could begin in the fall of 2009.
