Oh Ford, please listen, bring over the new Focus Coupe to US! With VW bring over the Scirocco, why not? Talk about a car that would jump-start Ford! The Focus Coupe will arrive in the UK in late 2010, along with an estate (wagon) and a CC due around a year later. Engine choices is from Ford’s new direct-injection, turbo EcoBoost, from sizes at 1.0-litre and 1.6-litre with 148 or 178bhp. Oil-burners in the UK will be the 1.6 or the 2.0-litre with 168 or 197bhp. Plus you can get the new optional Ford’s PowerShift twin-clutch transmission.
If Ford does bring it, please put something in that is close to 200bhp to compete against the VW Scirocco or the VW GTI.
