Brothel’s Hurting from the Raising Gas Prices?

I know the raising gas prices affect everyone. It cost more to deliver the product, so prices on a gallon of milk goes up. Gas prices affect the cost of running a tractor, so the price of a head of lettuce goes up. Tourists are down because people are staying home and just don’t have the extra cash to spend. But did you think the price of fuel is hurting the Brothels in Nevada? According to AP (slow news day?), brothels that cater to truckers are down as much as 25 percent. Nevada Brothel Owners’ Association president, Geoffrey Arnold, said truckers account for up to 75 percent of business at the state’s rural brothels along Interstate 80 and U.S. Highway 95.

But don’t fear of them going out of business. Some of the brothels are offering $50 gas cards to clients that spend $300 and $100 gas cards to those who spend $500. Some are just offering discounts, 45 minutes of, uh, fun, will be charged $175 instead of the usual rate of $200.
