The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Chinese auto maker BYD Co., is bring an all-electric battery car to the U.S. next year. BYD Chairman Wang Chuanfu said that it’s ahead of the original schedule.
It’s also reported that BYD has an agreement with Volkswagen on a possible cooperation to develop hybrid cars and lithium-ion battery powered electric vehicles.
For those wondering where they heard Chinese auto maker BYD, Warren Buffett is a part-owner in the company and earned a $1 billion in profit in less than a year! So with that kind of connection, makes you wonder if BYD is going to slide right into the U.S. market?
