Well, once again I see a concept we’ll never see in America. Chevrolet has a two-door crossover called GPiX at the Sao Paulo International auto show in Brazil. The concept car has the looks of a small ute with coupe styling. The GPiX concept is what to expect in the small utes in South America and most likely the replacement for the Chevy Corsa. Inside, it has room for four, all seats fold down and also include fun toys like Bluetooth, handheld computers and mp3 players. The GPiX stands for Global Image or ‘G’ for ‘global’ (non-US) and ‘Pix’ meaning ‘picture’.
No specs on engine or tranny, but it doesn’t matter, it’s not coming to US. GM still thinks they can’t sell small, two-door vehicles. Which is a shame, because that is exactly what I bought last year and most likely will buy again in a few years!
