Looks like I need to add another connection to Diamler AG on my diagram. Daimler AG announced today that is going to acquired 10 percent in Tesla Motors. The two companies have been working together in the past on Tesla’s lithium-ion battery packs for the Smart ForTwo. By 2012, Daimler plans on fitting all Smart and Mercedes-Benz electric vehicles with lithium-ion batteries, then the fuel-cell drive system currently being used in the Mercedes-Benz B-Class.
