End of an era is upon us, GAZ has announced the end of the famed Volga sedan. The famed Soviet Union car started in 1956 and has been used as taxi cabs, road police interceptors and based off the wagon, an ambulance. Plus in every classic Russian movie.
GAZ states the end of the Volga based on falling demand, high commodity prices and cheap foreign cars flooding the former USSR. GAZ will continue to make heavy trucks.
