So, you think the economy is going downhill? Maybe not! Ferrari, the maker of beautiful cars like F430 and the 599 GTB Fiorano, reported record sales and profits last year. Ferrari said a total of 6,465 cars were delivered to customers all over the world. Ferrari sold a total of 5,671 in 2006. What was the net profit? How does $436 million sound?
Think this is just because the rest of the world is up and U.S. is down? Think again…Ferrari has already taken 500 orders from the U.S., where they typically average about 1,500 to 1,800 cars per year.
If the economy is based on what the rich buy, I’d say we’re not doing that bad. Just an election year to get everyone in an up-roar.
