Fiat is looking to expand in the Chinese market, again. Fiat had a joint venture with Nanjing that ended in late 2007. Now it looks like Fiat is close to having a new joint venture with Chery Automobile. This will be a 50/50 joint venture between Fiat and Chery.
In 2006, 7.189 million vehicles were manufacture in China, surpassing Germany as the third largest automobile maker, according to Wikipedia. Watch out, China is coming!!
