After three years, VW has decided to bring back the Golf nameplate. It was replaced by a popular old nameplate, Rabbit, but I guess it just didn’t work out. So the new MkVI of the Rabbit will be called Golf once again.
In other VW news, Porsche continues to buy into VW. Porsche SE has secured 10 billion euro loan from a consortium of 15 banks, including Deutsche Bank AG, UBS and Credit Suisse Group.
