Love those heated seats? So do I! When it comes to cold winter mornings, it’s nice to get those heated seats goin’. But I guess this explains why we’re not getting pregnant during the winter time. According to Drive, a published study in New Scientist magazine found the use of heated seats has a drop in fertility among men who use them for an hour or more at a time. The heated seats raise the temperature in the scrotum to over 99.14 degrees F, compared to 98 degrees Fahrenheit in a non-heated seat. In some men, it could be as high as 103 degrees.
So if you’re looking at having kids and not having any luck, guys, you might want to cut back on the heated seats!
