Hertz announce today they have teamed up with GM to launch a limited edition Chevy Corvette ZHZ. There will be 500 ZHZ models added to its rental fleet starting June 16, 2008. The Corvette ZHZ will be part of the Fun Collection fleet at the following Hertz airport locations: Phoenix, AZ; Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco, CA; Denver, CO; Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Miami, Orlando, Palm Beach and Tampa, FL; Savannah, GA; Maui and Oahu, HI; Boston, MA; Newark, NJ ; Charlotte, NC; Portland, OR; Charleston, SC; Nashville, TN; Dallas and Houston, TX; Seattle, WA; and Washington, DC (Dulles Airport).
If you have to ask, yes this Vette will have paddle-shift automatic, 18-inch front and 19-inch rear, performance exhaust system and the most important, 6.2-liter V8 engine producing 436-hp!
Price has not been officially released at post, but checking on their website, I can rent Vette ZHZ in Phoenix, AZ for about $170/day.
