Now that it looks like GM can’t get enough money for a merger with Chrysler, in steps-in South Korea’s Hyundai Motor. Hyundai is in talks with Cerberus Capital Management about acquisition of Jeep brand and possibly other assets. However, Cerberus would prefer to sell off all of Chrysler than to break up the company.
I know Cerberus doesn’t want to break up the company into small pieces, but money is money right now and I’m betting they are looking really hard at it!
