PSA (Peugeot-Citroen) and Mitsubishi are working even more closely, they have announced they will work together in the electric car sector. They are working towards a small urban electric vehicle in the near future.
Mitsubishi is one the leading manufacturer of electric cars in Japan and will be coming out a iMiEV electric car in 2009. Mitsubishi is considering introducing the model to Europe and U.S.
For those keeping score at home, Mitsubishi and PSA has begun a joint factory in Russia. Since 2005, Mitsubishi has been supplying PSA with a medium-sized SUV for the European market sold under the Citroen C-Crosser and the Peugeot 4007 brands.
