It’s reporting today that the Swedish government is set to guarantee a loan for Volvo Cars. “Unlike GM, Ford has clearly stated they will take full ownership responsibility and guarantee capital flows to Volvo Cars until they have found a new owner for Volvo Cars,” Joran Hagglund, Sweden’s state secretary.
Saab on Friday files for court protection, as GM has said it will dump Saab by 2010.
So my question is: Will Saab die with GM and Volvo continue and be the only Swedish car manufacture?
