Well, this should be interesting. The shoe is going to be on the other foot as the United Auto Workers union (UAW) will soon own 55% of Chrysler LLC. Fiat Group SpA will own 35% while the other 10% will be owned by U.S. government and secured lenders, mostly banks and hedge funds.
It should also be noted that Daimler AG is going to rid of the remaining 19.9% stake in Chrysler. It will also forgive $1.9 billion in loans.
