
Chrysler will be selling the Chinese car maker Chery soon. In a deal last July, Chrysler and Chery signed a production venture, where Chery will export its A1 model under Chrysler Group’s Dodge brand. The A1 is a 1.3-lister compact hatch that will get over 35 miles per gallon in the U.S. It’s close to completing its road and crash testing overseas.
Chrysler and Chery are in talks right now to establish a joint venture.
Deals are coming and going as car manufactures fight to bring small, fuel efficient cars to the U.S. The true question is America ready to trade in their large SUV for small, cheap fuel sipping cars?
